2008 Sales Achievement Award Recipients
December 31, 2008 - Swish Traditionally, for over 50 years now, has identified and awarded their sales team the honourable titles of "Sales Person of the Year" and "New Account Sales Person of the Year". All criteria of the nominees and awards are based on our business year -- October 1 to September 30. Following are the recognized award winners and honourable mentions for 2008:
Sales Person of the Year
Recognizes the representatives that meet all of their established sales goals and achieving the overall sales program objectives for the year. We are pleased to announce the title of this award to:
Mike Chartier, Winnipeg, MB. - Mike has met all of the criteria and since joining the Swish team in 1997, Mike was winner of this award both in 2007 and now 2008 of this award. Prior to this Mike was also awarded the New Account Sales Person of the Year, 2005 and 2006.
New Account Sales Person of the Year -
New Account Sales Person of the Year is one of a set of ten common sense "Sales Truths" that Swish founder, Walter Ambler used in the everyday hands-on approach in the management and development of Swish Maintenance Limited. "The Life Blood of the Company is New Accounts". We are pleased to announce the title of this award to:
Andrew Platt, Whitby, ON. - Andrew has shown this truth is still practiced today being awarded the title. Andrew was winner of this same award in 2007 and prior to this has also been a two (2) time winner of Sales Person of the Year.
Clean-it™ Centre Leader of the Year -
The following award now in it's second year recognizes our Clean-it™ Centre Leaders that have met the established goals within their location and achieved all of the overall requirements necessary to support the development and growth of a successful centre. We are pleased to announce this title to:
Vince Barrett, Kingston, ON. Since joining Swish in November 1979, Vince goes beyond service excellence when it comes to meeting our valued customer's needs. By fulfilling other roles over the years, Vince has established a hands on approach, is personable and well respected by his customer base.

Announcing a New Look to our Splash Page
November 19, 2008 - In the coming year our valued customers and web users can expect to see a number of enhancements we have planned for swishclean.com. Some of the changes will be minor (i.e. product additions, deletions, etc) and some major (short videos, expanded resource centre, cross selling and related product ads, etc.)
One of the major changes that we are pleased to introduce happening December 8, 2008 is a new look to our Splash Page.
This new design will stay current with web design and industry trends and also allow us to introduce to you our valued customer new products and sustainable cleaning solutions immediately as they happen.

The 2008 Property Management Exposition & Conference
November 6th, 2008 - Plan to visit us at the Property Management Exposition & Conference. This year is the 20th anniversary and will offer more exhibits, special features, speakers, and networking opportunities than ever before.
As Canada's largest annual property management exposition and conference, the Show will facilitate the exchange of ideas, best practices, and product knowledge that will provide you with strategies and cost effective solutions for managing and operating your buildings. Ontario Hospital Association - Health Achieve Exhibition 2008
October 10th, 2008 - Come see us at the OHA Health Achieve Exhibition 2008. The Exhibit at Health Achieve 2008 includes over 8,600 health care leaders and professionals. Last year, this event attracted 8,591 delegates and provided an opportunity for 335 exhibitors to showcase their innovative health care products and services. This year Swish will be at booths #413 & #415.

Plan to visit us at the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association 2008 Trade Show. This year, the ONPHA Conference will host TWO specialized trade shows. The Property Management Products & Services Trade Show will be held in the International Ballroom of the Crowne Plaza and the Professional Services Trade Show will be held in the Laurier Room of the Marriott Hotel in Ottawa Ontario.
